Children
Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name, welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me. ~ Mark 9:37
Children's Sermon
Each week, a special message is crafted for our children. This interactive time during the worship service at the chancel steps provides a spirititual message for children (and perhaps adults) based on the worship theme of the day. A valuable tradition at CCC which ends in prayer and collection of the children's offering.
Children's Offering
This optional collection is an important opportunity to instill stewardship, giving and service at a young age. The year's donations are accumulated and distributed to a charitable cause chosen by the children.
Children's Learning Time
Each Sunday from 9-9:30 am, all children meet while adults go to Sunday School. The kids learn while playing with our experienced staff of child care professionals.
Sunday School
We offer Sunday School during the 10 am worship service. All children in preschool through 6th grade are welcome to attend our rotation model classes after the children's sermon in the sanctuary.
Singing
During the worship service from time to time, the children share their singing talent with the congregation, led by our Children's Music Director. The music program has been carefully integrated into the Sunday School program for them to practice and learn God's message through song and instruments. Participation in front of the congregation is only if the child would like.
Infant & Toddler Nurseries
Secure and reliable care is offered for infants and toddlers during the 10am worship service. The infant nursery is located close to the sanctuary and also provides a quiet location where parent and baby can be together privately while still listening to the service.
The toddler nursery is for those young ones who are able to walk while interacting with others toddlers as they play with age appropiate toys.
