CCC Women's Coffee Break - May 12
Please come join the women of CCC Saturday, April 14 at 8am. We meet at Einstein Brothers Bagels on Milwaukee Road to relax, talk, laugh, and get to know each other a little better. All you have to do is show up. We are usually there until at least 9:30 am. Come when you can and leave when you need to. There is no agenda or schedule. We are a free-flowing group and we’d love to see you there!
CCC Men's Breakfast - Saturday, June 2
The next monthly CCC men's breakfast will take place on Saturday, May 5, from 8 to 9 am in Thompson Hall. Please contact the church office if you'll be able to join on Saturday. Additionally, please bring your ideas for future discussion topics.
Soup Kitchen - June 13
Community Christian Church is fortunate enough to be able to serve meals through Community Social Service' Soup Kitchen in Waukegan on the second Wednesday of each month. This privilege is very fulfilling. Community Social Services serves over 3,000 meals each month and we are a part of this meaningful outreach mission.
Carpools leave the church parking lot at 4pm SHARP, so arrive at 3:50 pm if you would like to serve. You will arrive back at church no later than 7:30 pm. Youth must be at least 11 years old. Friends are always welcome!

Feed My Starving Children - June 16
CCC members, friends and families are invited to join a food-packing event at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and they ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.
We’ll meet at church at 12:30pm to caravan to Schaumburg and stop for dinner on the way home, arriving back at church by 6 or 6:30pm. Contact the church office if you are interested.
